Madagascar Fishing Adventures 2013
Hi folks

Welcome to Madagascar Fishing Adventures' 2013 season!
There have been some exciting changes and upgrades to our operation and we are looking forward to a bumper year - which kicks off at the beginning of April.

Our 28ft fishing boat "King Julien" with skipper Brandon King at the helm has proven to be a world-class combination – evident by the number of returning clients.

This season we welcome new guide James McCafferty who will be joining Brandon in April.

2012 Season recap
The past season was a good one, with some great catches and lots of new water discovered.

Our clients landed more than 40 different saltwater species on both fly and conventional tackle, including a few new species.

While (as with any fishery) there were a few slow periods during the season, good-sized GT’s, sailfish, dogtooth tuna, trevally species, king mackerel, snapper and grouper were landed during most weeks. We had some excellent surface fishing, enjoyed some fantastic sight casting to free swimming sailfish and took a number of sailfish on fly.

Lots of big doggies were hooked, but these ridiculously powerful fish got the better of most anglers. Many smaller ones were landed and it won’t be long before a real trophy is boated.

We enjoyed some wonderful light tackle and inshore angling with a number of river snapper, green spot trevally and GT’s being caught in the estuaries, lagoons and coral reef edges.
